PURPOSE
The Special Education Resource Teacher provides individualized, standards-based instruction and support to students with disabilities, aligned with the Illinois State Board of Education and Illinois Learning Standards. The role develops and implements IEPs, monitors student progress, and collaborates with general education teachers, staff, and families to support academic and functional growth.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
182 Days. Salary to be established by the Board of Education.

EVALUATION
Performance of this job will be evaluated by the Building Principal and/or Dean in accordance with provisions of Board policy.

PAYROLL SCHEDULE
Distributed over 26 periods, every other Friday
