
Receiving Clerk

We’re seeking a Receiving Specialist who will be responsible for unpacking, organizing and processing the items delivered to the Central Processing Center for the purpose of selling on EBTH.com.
Location: Ohio and/or the Cincinnati, OH metropolitan area.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Inventory Management: Update inventory systems and maintain regular cycle counts.
Documentation: Review shipping orders, generate labels, and prepare invoices and bills of lading.
Logistics & Coordination: Coordinate with carriers and truck drivers.
Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
Receiving & Inspection: Unload, count, and inspect incoming shipments for damage, reporting discrepancies in quantity or quality.
Shipping & Packaging: Prepare, label, and pack outgoing items for shipment, ensuring proper documentation and addressing when necessary.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy items (50+ lbs) and stand for long periods.
Technical Skills: Proficiency with barcode scanners, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and Microsoft Office.
Equipment Operation: Experience with pallet jacks.
Communication: Effective written and verbal communication.
Organization: Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in inventory and shipping records.
Working Conditions
This is typically a full-time, fast-paced warehouse or distribution center position.
Often involves working around noise, dust, and varying temperatures.
Educational/Experience Requirements
A high school diploma or GED is generally required.
Previous warehouse or shipping/receiving experience is usually preferred.
