Overview
Title I Assistant / Library Media Specialist - 2026-2027 School Year
Tipp City Schools is seeking a qualified and student-focused individual to serve in a combined role as a Part-Time Title I Assistant and Part-Time Library Media Specialist for the 2026–2027 school year.
This position supports student learning through targeted reading intervention services and by assisting with the operation of the school library/media center, promoting literacy, technology use, and a positive learning environment.
Responsibilities
Provide small group and/or individual reading support to students identified for Title I services
Monitor student progress and support literacy skill development
Assist in the daily operation of the library/media center, including circulation and organization of materials
Support students and staff with technology and research tools
Promote a positive, engaging, and structured learning environment
Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student success
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
Valid Ohio Educational Aide Permit (or ability to obtain)
Experience working with students, especially in reading or literacy support, preferred
Strong organizational, communication, and technology skills
Ability to work collaboratively and maintain confidentiality
