Digital Design Coordinator
Join HDR's Building Engineering Services Group to design critical infrastructure that supports the digital era, including data centers, commercial spaces, and more. You will collaborate with mechanical, electrical, structural, and civil engineering teams to create high-quality BIM models and deliver accurate technical documentation.
Responsibilities
Work in a specific discipline under the direct supervision of an architect or engineer.
Assist in developing the discipline model with digital design staff.
Help create discipline models, systems, content, and digital delivery outputs.
Accurately model BIM elements within the constraints of the modeling environment using current 3D software.
Prepare detailed drawings, layouts, and diagrams using 3D software.
Maintain discipline model including project information, coordinates, scales, orientations, scope boundaries, match-lines, views, and sheets.
Produce discipline‑specific documentation with accurate annotations on all modeling output.
Required Qualifications
Technically proficient in 3D design software and document management infrastructure.
Competent in Microsoft Office products and communication tools.
Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and strong organizational traits.
Basic understanding of engineering or architectural concepts.
Location: Kansas City, Missouri. Schedule: Full‑time. Position Type: Regular.
