Senior Market Research Manager, Public Affairs

Overview This open position is working on market research studies for clients in the private sector, collaborating with a project team on data collection, data processing, and analysis of results. Client deliverables include data tables, data files, reports in Word and PowerPoint, webinars and telephone presentations.
What You’ll Do Coordinating and managing survey research projects on time and on budget, working closely with colleagues in other departments.
Developing an understanding of clients’ business issues, including evaluating brand health, communication effectiveness, concept testing, patient journeys, touchpoint evaluation, and trade-off analysis.
Engaging with clients to suggest solutions to their problems and collaborating with colleagues to produce winning proposals.
Bringing creativity and insights to clients in identifying and solving business challenges, generating new and repeat business, and managing and developing colleagues doing those tasks.
What You Need You are curious – you don’t like leaving questions unanswered, and you take initiative to find information to better meet clients’ needs.
4+ years of experience in the market research sector.
A degree in the social sciences or a quantitatively-oriented field, preferably at the Master’s level.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to coordinate the work of a large team, keeping everyone informed on changes affecting their part of the process.
Strong interest in the health sector – health insurance, hospitals, and public health.
Interest in working with companies and government agencies to improve customer experiences.
Strong working proficiency with MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
Experience working with data in Excel and/or Access.
Knowledge of quantitative analysis packages, especially SPSS and/or SAS is a plus.

In accordance with NY/CO/CA/WA law, the estimated base salary range for this role is $90,000 to $95,000. Your final base salary will be determined based on several non-discriminatory factors which may include location, work experience, skills, knowledge, education and/or certifications.
