About the Role
As a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician, you will support the Operations Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems throughout the building. You will install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment, and mentor junior technicians to grow in their roles.

Key Job Responsibilities

Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.

Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation.

Diagnose electrical and mechanical problems related to all Material Handling Equipment (MHE), including belts, motors, photo‑eyes, relays, and more.

Maintain a positive working relationship across the Amazon Operations facility.

Move up to 49 lbs, stand and walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, climb ladders and gangways safely, and perform regular bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching both below the waist and above the head.

Basic Qualifications

High school or equivalent diploma.

1+ year experience with Microsoft Office products and applications.

Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.

Certification from Amazon’s Mechatronics and Robotics Apprenticeship Program, or 2+ years of experience with automated conveyor systems and controls.

2+ years of experience conducting predictive and preventative maintenance procedures.

2+ years of experience reading blueprints and electrical schematics.

2+ years of experience demonstrating safety standards.

2+ years of experience troubleshooting and diagnosing material handling equipment (MHE).

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with robotic operation and maintenance.

2+ years of experience with electrical and electronic principles.

Associate’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

2+ years of experience in a mechanical or electrical apprenticeship program.

Compensation
USA, TN, Nashville – 30.00–30.00 USD hourly (including base pay plus available shift differential).
