VAA is seeking a Project Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will support project teams by performing entry‑level project coordination and document control tasks. This role is designed for individuals who are developing foundational knowledge of project coordination, gaining experience through mentored assignments, and contributing to multidisciplinary project teams under close supervision.
Your role:
Collect data and gather information to support project coordination and document control activities
Assist with preparation of project procedures and project‑related documentation
Support document formatting to ensure proper structure and content
Gain exposure to multidisciplinary project teams and project workflows
Perform assigned tasks using standard techniques, procedures, and criteria
Set up project in accounting/project management systems
Maintain and regularly update the centralized client directory to ensure accuracy and completeness of client records
Collect, track, and maintain Certificates of Insurance (COIs), Purchase Orders, contracts and W9 forms for clients, subcontractors, vendors, and consultants as required
Cost tracking, budget monitoring, and basic variance tracking
A/P and A/R coordination related to projects
Support in monthly billing efforts
Your resume must include:
High school diploma or GED.
1 year of related experience and / or training and knowledge of construction industry – a plus.
Starting Hourly Range
$21.00 – $26.00 (determined by market data, location, experience, and specialized skills).
