Gas Leak Survey Technician
and join our amazing team. Heath Consultants Incorporated has provided top-notch services and equipment to the natural gas and utility industry since 1933. We’re looking for individuals ready for an outdoor role with paid training—no experience required.
Responsibilities
Inspect natural gas systems and conduct leak surveys to protect life, limb, and property.
Support environmental safety and ensure compliance with federal and local regulations.
Spend time outdoors detecting leaks, completing reports, communicating with homeowners, and following safety protocols.
Physical Demands
Walk, bend, kneel, and lift up to 25 pounds in various weather conditions.
Operate Advanced Equipment
Use specialized equipment to detect gas leaks and contribute to safety outcomes in the community.
Outdoor Responsibilities
Work in all weather conditions and enjoy varied outdoor work.
Physical Requirements
The job requires walking approximately 4–7 miles and lifting up to 25 lbs.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
Valid Driver’s License with a safe driving record
Customer Service Experience (a plus)
DOT/Background Check: A passed DOT drug screen and background check are required
