About The Role
Peraton seeks an experienced Psychological Operations (PSYOP) / Military Information Support Operations (MISO) Planner to integrate MISO functions across Combatant Command (CCMD) and Unified Command-level planning.

Role & Responsibilities

Ensure PSYOP/MISO considerations are fully incorporated into the command group's decision-making processes, and into all contingency and operations plans.

Provide expert mission analysis, advanced analytic problem-solving, and assessment support.

Leverage information systems and IRCs, collaborating with interagency and Intelligence Community partners, and develop innovative approaches to counter adversarial use of information.

Account for key cultural factors influencing operational and tactical planning, security considerations, and risk assessments.

Review, analyze, and operationalize tactical and operational-level IO directives to support mission objectives.

Apply technical expertise across tactical, operational, and strategic planning; identify and track measures of performance; advise on integration of PSYOP/MISO into operational concepts.

Coordinate across multiple warfighting functions, supporting CCMD planners with core, supporting, and related IO competencies.

Demonstrate exceptional oral, visual, and written communication skills.

Advise, negotiate, and persuade managers, military officials, and senior leaders, gaining acceptance of recommended concepts and guidance.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 8 relevant years of planning experience; 4 additional years may satisfy the degree requirement.

PSYOP (37A/37F) career field or equivalent.

Knowledge of joint operational planning, military decision-making, campaign planning, and U.S. targeting processes.

Minimum 5 years of MISO planning at the service or joint level for Combatant Commands or Joint Task Forces.

Knowledge of Army, Navy, Marine Corps, and Air Force functions and their coordination with CCMDs.

Experience with joint or combined operations and interagency coordination, including:

Knowledge of DoD, joint, and Army doctrine, regulations, and policies.

Capability to recommend changes to policy, force structure, design, and command relationships.

Proficiency in integrating PSYOP/MISO into cyber plans and operations.

Understanding of command and control procedures.

Ability to coordinate PSYOP/MISO actions within proper channels and develop C2 policies.

Experience coordinating adjacent and supporting operations.

Familiarity with or certification in:

Military Deception (MILDEC)

OPSEC

Electronic Warfare (EW)

Cyberspace operations

Coordinating intelligence requirements

U.S. citizenship required.

Current U.S. Passport.

Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and Polygraph capability.

Preferred Qualifications

Recent joint or service-level information operations planning experience.

Joint cyber operations planner course.

Current CI Polygraph.

Joint information operations planner course.

Defense OPSEC planner course.

Compensation & Benefits
Target Salary Range: $112,000 - $179,000. Salary is based on role scope, experience, education, skills, and geographic location.
