This role reports into our Macedon, New York Headquarters and manufacturing plant.
What We Need
The Talent Acquisition Specialist will independently drive the full-cycle process of incoming talent to Baldwin Richardson Foods by partnering with key stakeholders to deliver top talent in a competitive marketplace and in accordance with BRF’s CARE Values. This will be accomplished through the development of strong internal partnerships, as well as continuous education and understanding of the external talent market and its constraints. This role’s focus will be on the full spectrum of production, production support and professional roles.
What You Will Do
Directly source talent via job ads, direct sourcing, and creating pipeline activities through community and social media engagement for a wide variety of open roles within the organization.
Enhance BRF’s employer brand awareness and reputation in the internal and external talent marketplace, in collaboration with HR and other functions.
Develop a strong understanding of the overall business and its talent needs.
Act as SME for hiring managers in talent acquisition best practices.
Ensure quality of prospective candidates presented to hiring managers; own the relationship with the candidate from application through start date.
Form relationships with hiring managers and leadership to understand recruiting needs and provide consultancy on market, salary, talent availability, job description language and title.
Manage the candidate pipeline by implementing effective sourcing strategies.
Ensure all talent-related communications, documents and information are up to date, professional and consistent with driving a positive BRF brand image.
Engage in talent development and management projects to enhance the talent brand, create candidate pipelines, develop leadership skills and standardize TA processes.
Regularly evaluate recruiting sourcing avenues and adjust as necessary in partnership with the Talent Acquisition team.
Adhere to and participate in continuous development of talent acquisition processes at BRF.
Meet assigned talent acquisition metrics, such as time to fill and Level of Service (LOS).
What You Will Need To Be Successful
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Marketing or related field preferred.
A minimum of three (3) years of talent acquisition experience across a broad variety of roles from entry level to senior leadership, including technical functions.
Proven experience developing strong partnerships with leaders to coach, counsel, and support through a successful hiring experience.
Experience identifying and managing relationships and KPIs for third-party sourcing partners.
Prior internal recruiting experience.
Experience using a variety of recruiting tools including applicant tracking systems (ATS), social media and sourcing tools.
