Position Overview
As an Automotive Tire Delivery Driver at Sweat Tire in Robertsdale, AL you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to our customers while working collaboratively with our team ensuring the timely and efficient distribution of tires to various locations. Key Responsibilities
Delivery and Transportation
Deliver tires and related products to automotive stores, repair shops, and other customers
Load and unload tires and products on/off trucks
Ensure safe and timely transportation of goods
Adhere to delivery schedules and routes
Vehicle Management
Conduct regular truck inspections
Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks
Report any non-routine repairs or maintenance needs
Keep the delivery vehicle clean and organized
Customer Service
Interact professionally with customers during deliveries
Address customer inquiries or refer them to appropriate personnel
Maintain a customer-focused approach to enhance brand reputation
Administrative Tasks
Complete and process necessary paperwork, including invoices and delivery receipts
Maintain accurate delivery logs and other required documentation
Record pertinent information on all invoices
Inventory Management
Pull correct tires to fill orders
Assist in warehouse duties, including stocking tires in proper order
Verify order accuracy before delivery
Required Skills and Qualifications
Valid driver’s license (CDL may be required for some positions)
Clean driving record
Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 75-100 pounds)
Strong communication and customer service skills
Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
Time management and organizational skills
Problem-solving abilities to handle unexpected situations during deliveries
Physical Demands
Regular lifting, bending, twisting, pushing, and pulling
Extended periods of standing and walking
Ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl while handling tires
Work Environment
Primarily outdoors, exposed to various weather conditions
May involve exposure to fumes or airborne particles
Typically works 40-45 hours per week, with potential for overtime
