Our client, a leading logistics and warehousing organization, is seeking a Warehouse- Order Picker to join their team. As a Warehouse- Order Picker, you will be part of the warehouse operations team supporting order fulfillment and inventory management. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, physical stamina, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Warehouse- Order Picker
Pay Range
17 to 20 hr. upon experience
Shift
8:00am to 5:00pm
Job Responsibilities
Locate and select items from warehouse shelves based on pick lists or digital scanners.
Scan and verify product SKU, type, and quantity to ensure order accuracy.
Move picked items to designated shipping areas and sometimes pack, label, or shrink-wrap items.
Update inventory systems and report damages or shortages.
Safely operate warehouse machinery (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) and maintain a clean work area.
Required Qualifications
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift heavy items (often 50 lbs) for long periods.
High accuracy in reading orders and checking inventory to minimize errors.
Experience with barcode scanners, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), or voice-picking technology.
Certification or experience with forklifts, cherry pickers, or pallet jacks is often required.
High school diploma or GED is typically required.
