Position Summary
Directs and coordinates activities of warehouse workers engaged in receiving and distributing building material products by performing the following duties. Directly supervises 5-35 employees in the Warehouse. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. This position is responsible for maintaining and enforcing all company procedures, policies and practices.

Determines work procedures, prepares work schedules, and expedites workflow.
Issues written and oral instructions.
Assigns duties and examines work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to all company policies and procedures.

Requirements
Studies and standardizes procedures to improve safety and efficiency of subordinates
Maintains harmony among workers and to assist in resolving grievances.
Helps prepare composite reports from individual reports of subordinates.
Works with dedicated carriers for efficient and safe routing of delivery trucks.
Responsible for coordinating will call orders in safe and service friendly manner.
Responsible for the maintaining and caring for company owned or leased equipment.
Accountable to Distribution facility warehouse overtime review and management.
Accountable and responsible for high standards of warehouse safety, cleanliness and organization.
Performs other miscellaneous duties as requested.

Work Location
This work is critical to be conducted at the assigned office, with remote work not practical.
