Position Summary
We are seeking a dynamic, hands-on General Manager to lead our Fairfield Inn & Suites in Sulphur, Louisiana. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced hospitality professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about driving performance, building strong teams, and delivering exceptional guest experiences. The General Manager is responsible for the overall leadership and performance of the hotel, including operations, financial results, guest satisfaction, team development, and brand compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily hotel operations across all departments
Drive revenue growth and maximize profitability
Manage budgets, forecasting, and financial performance
Ensure compliance with brand standards and company policies
Lead and develop department heads and team members
Maintain high guest satisfaction scores and online reputation
Oversee sales efforts and local market positioning
Ensure property maintenance and capital projects are executed effectivelyFoster a positive, accountable, and service-focused culture
Qualifications
Minimum 3–5 years of hotel management experience (General Manager or Assistant GM preferred)
Experience with select-service hotels strongly preferred
Brand experience with Marriott properties is a plus
Proven track record of improving revenue, controlling expenses, and driving profitability
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to analyze financial reports and make strategic decisions
Passion for guest service and team development
