Investigative Accounting Internship Positions Available
May 2026 - August 2026; August 2026 – December 2026. Start and End Dates are flexible.
Full-time internships are available, requiring a minimum of 30 hours per week, up to 40 hours. This opportunity is fully onsite.
Opportunity
During your internship, you’ll gain real-world experience working with talented professionals on investigative accounting engagements that involve working with commercial property insurers to evaluate physical damage and business income losses suffered by businesses resulting from catastrophes. Projects may include reviewing and analyzing historical financial and industry information, revenue and expense projections, insurance claim evaluations and economic damage evaluations. Assignments provide exposure to a wide range of industries from small local retail stores to multinational entities.
Qualifications
Junior or senior level student
Accounting major
Minimum 3.0 GPA
Proficient understanding of Microsoft Windows and Office applications, especially Microsoft Excel skills at an intermediate or advanced level, with willingness to train in other Windows-based applications
Motivation and enthusiasm – self-starter with interest in learning new skills and concepts and applying them for clients
Compensation
Base compensation for this role typically ranges between $30 and $32 an hour.
