
Human Capital Management (HCM) Intern

Overview
This internship supports the HCM team with daily HR and payroll system administration, troubleshooting, documenting processes, and participating in system testing. Interns collaborate across departments, contribute to reporting and data audits, and help maintain accurate employee records. Candidates should be pursuing a relevant degree, show interest in HR technology, be comfortable working with data (especially Excel), demonstrate attention to detail, and possess a collaborative, eager-to-learn attitude.
Responsibilities
Support the HCM team in day-to-day administration of HR and payroll systems, including data entry and routine system maintenance tasks
Assist with troubleshooting issues related to our HR/payroll platforms, escalating complex issues to appropriate team members as needed
Help document system processes, workflows, and user guides to support knowledge sharing
Participate in testing and validation activities for system updates, patches, or configuration changes
Collaborate with HR, Payroll, and other departments to support system initiatives, enhancements, integrations, opportunities, etc.
Contribute to reporting and data audits to ensure employee records are complete and compliant
Qualifications
Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field
Demonstrated interest in HR technology, payroll systems, or people operations — coursework, projects, or hands-on experience all count
Comfortable working with data; familiarity with Excel or similar tools is a plus
Strong attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive employee information with discretion
Collaborative, curious, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment
