
Utility Technician

Our EthosEnergy Aerospace & Defense division is seeking Utility Technicians for an FAA regulated workshop located in Duncan South Carolina. Candidates must have United States citizenship as per FAA regulations. The role is primarily responsible for supporting composite and machine shop operations and other activity required to support repair with the authority to carry out all assigned tasks. Some flexibility with work schedule is required based on business needs.
Job Responsibilities

Support shop floor and individual cells by cleaning, quoting, washing, testing, blasting, masking, coating, screen/composite repair, painting, material handling and assembly and disassembly of parts for repair and other activity as required
Follow all work instructions and complete all quality documentation as required
Must be mentally coherent and free from the influence of drugs (either illegal or legally prescribed drugs that may cause impairment) while performing in the capacity of "safety-sensitive" duties/operations per FAA regulations
Perform any additional tasks as required
Required Skills / Knowledge
Company's policies and procedures
Basic computer hardware and software
Basic data entry and/or word processing
Familiarity with test equipment (i.e. Dyno Test)
Machine shop theory, shop mathematics and measurement equipment
Excellent oral and written communication (English)
Skilled in working with composite material
Ability to read blue prints and job specific routers
Demonstrated ability to conduct proper part preparation including cleaning of parts
Must be able to balance workload to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities
Work with minimal supervision
Analyze and solve problems and aid in audits
Perform mathematical calculations associated with repair work scopes
Must be able to work in a team environment and train others as required
Ability to learn tasks required to perform the job
Experience
2 - 4 years' experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified
Education Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent
Physical Requirements
Professional appearance and demeanor
Punctual
Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
Ability to sit and/or stand for up to 8 hours a day
