
Human Resource Organizational Development Intern

Position Summary
Over a 10-week period, the intern will research and evaluate Learning Management Systems (LMS) that align with the company’s training and business needs. The project includes comparing platforms based on functionality, usability, reporting, integrations, and cost, while gathering input from internal stakeholders. The intern will organize findings into a clear comparison matrix and summary materials. The project will conclude with a presentation to leadership outlining recommended LMS options and suggested next steps.
Responsibilities
Conduct research on Learning Management Systems (LMS) that align with our needs
Identify and compare LMS platforms based on key criteria such as functionality, ease of use, reporting capabilities, integrations, and cost
Gather input to understand current pain points and future training requirements
Develop a comparison matrix outlining strengths, limitations, pricing models, and recommended use cases for each LMS option
Document findings in clear, well‑organized summaries and presentations for leadership review. Prepare and deliver a final presentation with LMS options, including rationale and suggested next steps.
Maintain regular check‑ins with the supervisor to provide progress updates and adjust research focus as needed.
Requirements
All interns must be active college students who have completed their freshman year and are enrolled in courses for the Fall semester of 2026
A current student in a related field such as HR, business, education, training, or related fields.
Someone who enjoys researching, comparing options, and organizing information.
Good time‑management skills and ability to stay on track during a 10‑week project.
Able to work independently but also communicate well with others.
Professional and comfortable talking with employees and vendors.
Pays attention to details.
WAGE DISCLOSURE
The salary range indicated in this posting represents the minimum and maximum of the range for the position. The actual range will vary based upon factors including, but not limited to, prior experience, knowledge, skill and education as they relate to the position’s qualifications, and internal equity.
The posted salary range reflects just one component of our total rewards package. Other components include health, dental, and vision insurance, PTO, retirement plan, volunteer opportunities, paid holidays, overtime opportunities, and many more.
$17.00 per hour - $23.00 per hour
