Position Summary
This high-energy position requires customer service, assertiveness, excellent oral and written communications, and superb organizational skills. The Student Admin serves as the primary point of contact for internal and external constituents on matters pertaining to the COSMIAC Research Center objectives within the SOE Research Support Office.
The responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, facilitating and administering day‑to‑day operations of the COSMIAC office, providing front desk support, answering the telephone, greeting and assisting visitors, accepting deliveries, and aiding in security processing for new hires working with ISP and SFPC officer. The role also involves scheduling/coordinating meetings and events, handling multiple calendars, and assisting with processing travel and expense reimbursements.
Work‑study eligible.
The position will be available through the summer with potential to continue during the academic year.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience using software in Java, Python, Photoshop, HTML, and CSS programming languages.
Ability to travel to COSMIAC, which is located near the Albuquerque Sunport.
