Position Overview: As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming and positive experience both in person and over the phone. You will work closely with our front office team, providers, and patients to ensure smooth daily operations and exceptional customer service.
Primary Responsibilities:
Greet patients and visitors with a warm, friendly attitude
Answer incoming phone calls professionally and courteously
Schedule new and existing patient appointments efficiently
Check patients in and out for appointments
Verify insurance benefits and eligibility
Collect co-payments, balances, and process payments accurately
Perform data entry and maintain accurate patient records
Communicate effectively with patients, therapists, referral sources, and staff
Assist with daily front office operations and administrative tasks
Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area
Support fellow receptionists and contribute to a team-oriented environment
Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year of medical front desk/receptionist experience required
Knowledge of insurance verification, co-pay collection, and scheduling preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Professional appearance and positive attitude
Excellent customer service skills with compassion for patients
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy office setting
Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new systems and procedures
Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
