Position:
Catalan Audio Generalist Evaluator Expert
Type:
Contract
Compensation:
$50/hour
Commitment:
10–20 hours/week
Role Responsibilities
Transcribe and optimize audio and video content in
Catalan , ensuring clarity and adherence to guidelines.
Develop evaluation rubrics and grading guidelines in
Catalan and English
for consistent model evaluations.
Conduct model testing and grading, providing feedback to improve
Catalan audio tasks .
Support benchmarking and quality assurance to meet Mercor’s quality standards.
Collaborate with project leads to resolve ambiguities and enhance task design.
Qualifications
Must-Have
Strong writing, editing, and critical thinking skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Native or near-native fluency in
Catalan (spoken and written)
and professional fluency in English.
Ability to transcribe and analyze
Catalan audio content .
Available to commit
10–20 hours per week .
Preferred
College students or recent graduates.
Background in linguistics, humanities, social sciences, journalism, or technical disciplines.
Experience with transcription, annotation, localization, evaluation, or research workflows in
Catalan .
Familiarity with dialectal variations and contemporary usage.
Interest in AI, language models, or applied research environments.
