Staff Software Engineer Frontend Platform Machine Identity Management
CyberArk, Santa Clara, CA, United States
Job Description
CyberArk is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join our Machine Identity Management team, focused on building frontend platform experiences that enable visibility, control, and orchestration of machine identities at scale.
In this role, you will lead the design and evolution of frontend architecture that surfaces complex backend systems, workflows, and integrations in a clear and scalable way. This role is ideal for engineers who have designed and scaled frontend systems that sit on top of complex distributed platforms, with a focus on usability, performance, and system clarity.
You will play a key role in defining frontend standards, driving technical direction, and influencing how teams build and scale user-facing systems across the platform.
What You’ll Do
Lead the design and development of scalable frontend applications using modern frameworks (React, TypeScript)
Develop data-rich interfaces that visualize system state, workflows, and platform activity
Collaborate with backend teams to define and consume APIs (REST, GraphQL)
Define and evolve frontend architecture, including state management, performance optimization, and component design
Drive development of reusable UI components and design systems that support consistency across the platform
Work closely with product and design to translate complex technical workflows into intuitive user experiences
Troubleshoot and resolve frontend performance issues, especially in data-heavy or real-time interfaces
Drive technical decisions and influence frontend direction across teams working on the platform
Drive improvements in frontend development practices, testing, and CI/CD workflows
