As an intern at Ware Malcomb, you will gain hands‑on experience working alongside industry professionals. You will develop practical skills in a collaborative environment supported by structured training and dedicated mentorship. The Human Resources Intern will be responsible for assisting with the day‑to‑day administrative functions of the Human Resources Department under the direction of the Human Resources Generalist.

This is a paid internship for Summer 2026.

Your Role

Provides excellent customer service to the Human Resources and Payroll team.

Partners with Human Resources Generalist on administrative functions, such as data entry in various Human Resources‑related databases.

Assists with creating and maintaining team members’ electronic personnel files.

Responds to inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and other HR‑related matters.

Assists in onboarding activities for new team members.

Assists with data entry and data scrubs.

Supports company culture and company events.

Performs ad hoc administrative tasks as required.

Qualifications

Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with HRIS (Human Resources Information System) software is advantageous.

Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.

Highly organized and detail‑oriented.

Ability to positively interface with all levels of team members.

Ability to prioritize multiple and competing tasks.

Demonstrates teamwork mentality and is dependable.

Demonstrates confidentiality in all aspects of the Human Resources Department.

The compensation range is $18‑$22 /hr, plus benefits. Compensation may exceed the posted range for candidates who surpass the posted requirements. Certain roles are bonus eligible.
