Overview

Responsibilities
Under direct department supervision, a Student Worker will assist with various assigned duties/projects to include clerical and administrative assignments (filing, data entry, processing of work orders, analyzing data, scanning, etc.), special projects, or other job related duties as assigned.

Must be currently enrolled as a first-year or second-year VCU Master of Health Administration (MHA) student.
Education/training PREFERRED:
Independent action(s) required: Demonstrated ability to act with independence of thought, high energy and urgency required to be effective in fast-paced environment.
Skills
Strong customer service skills, highly organized, and detail-oriented.
Demonstrate courteous communication skills both orally and in writing.
Ability to utilize email programs such as Microsoft Outlook.
Experience using Excel or MS Word.
Additional Qualities
Demonstrated ability to speak, write and present information in a timely, proactive, clear, concise and compelling manner.
Conduct all activities in accordance with the highest ethical standards.
Results-oriented, decisive, can-do attitude.
