Artificial Intelligence Researcher

Hadron Energy, Inc., San Francisco, CA, United States

Hadron Energy specializes in Micro Modular Reactor (MMR) development, design, and research based in the San Francisco Bay Area. As the leading MMR developer, Hadron Energy is building factory-produced, transportable microreactors that provide 24/7 carbon-free power for data centers, government facilities, industrial sites, and remote communities. Our mission is to create a brighter, healthier, and more equitable energy future.

Artificial Intelligence Researcher – Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Artificial Intelligence Researcher, based in the San Francisco Bay Area. The position is ideal for candidates with a strong background in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and applied research who are passionate about using AI to accelerate scientific discovery, engineering design, and operational excellence in the clean energy sector.

The Artificial Intelligence Researcher will lead and conduct research in advanced AI methodologies, including large language models (LLMs), machine learning optimization, reinforcement learning, and digital twin simulations, to support Hadron Energy’s engineering, manufacturing, and regulatory workflows. This individual will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop, evaluate, and implement novel AI-driven approaches that enhance predictive modeling, automation, and decision‑making across the company.

You will play a pivotal role in establishing Hadron’s AI research capabilities—bridging the gap between cutting‑edge AI science and practical deployment within one of the most advanced technology frontiers: next‑generation nuclear energy.
