Responsibilities
The Office Administrator is responsible for ensuring that the Firm’s lawyers in Silicon Valley have the resources and support necessary to provide excellent service to clients. In collaboration with the Partner-in-Charge and Administrative Partner, the Office Administrator manages support functions in the office, providing oversight to support personnel, human resources, financial services, technology, facilities, records, and other day-to-day operations of the office; ensures compliance with Firmwide policies, relevant government statutes and regulations; works closely with lawyers to meet evolving practice needs; manages office budgetary goals. The Office Administrator leads teams and projects effectively, troubleshoots operational issues and communicates effectively on behalf of the Firm and Office. The Office Administrator maintains a positive and respectful work environment, mentors staff members in the performance of their duties, and fosters an atmosphere of teamwork and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of five (5) years of managerial experience with increasing responsibility.
Experience in a multi-office law firm or professional services firm is preferred.
Jones Day offers competitive salaries and benefits to all employees. Compensation is determined upon the market in which the position is located, the responsibilities of the position, the experience and skills of the applicant, and other job-related factors. The starting pay scale for this Silicon Valley exempt-level position is $225,000 - $275,000.
