Role Overview
Sodexo Live's Airport Lounge Segment is seeking a Human Resources Manager to join our team with our new client, with lounges throughout the West Coast and Hawaii. This role will be based in Seattle, WA with expected 30% - 40% travel to other locations. The Human Resources Manager will have an office onsite as well as working remote, in a hybrid capacity. You will provide administrative HR support to the Sodexo food and beverage teams who operate the business lounges in the region. Role reports to a Human Resources Business Partner, and will work directly with on-site managers and a staff of 150 - 200 employees. Bilingual Spanish preferred for this role.
What You’ll Do
Oversee airport badging process for new hires
Support new hire orientation facilitation, set-up and logistics
Onboarding
Run compliance reports
Maintain and distribute employee training/communications
Assist with career fairs and hiring events/recruitment
Share employee benefits information with new hires and direct them accordingly
Complete I-9 forms and other employee file documentation
Set up employee direct deposits
Engage with potential candidates and represent Sodexo as an employer of choice
Collect union statements/corrective actions for Senior Human Resources Manager
Address payroll issues as they arise
Function as the HR liaison between operations and senior HR
Complete other administrative projects as assigned

What You Bring
The ideal candidate is a team player, with high attention to detail, proactive mindset, and has excellent communication & interpersonal skills to interact with employees and stakeholders.
Must have proven experience as an HR Manager or in a similar role.
Experience in restaurants, hospitality, or travel industry preferred.
Understanding and knowledge of union environments and labor relations.
Understanding of federal labor laws.
