Oracle OCI Cloud Engineer / DBA
to design, manage, and optimize Oracle cloud and database environments. This role requires strong expertise in OCI, database administration, middleware, and high-availability architecture.

Design and manage
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
environments
Administer
Oracle Databases, WebLogic, APEX, and ORDS
Execute database
upgrades (19c → 26ai), migrations, and conversions
Implement
backup, recovery, and DR solutions (RMAN, Data Guard)
Monitor and optimize
database performance and tuning
Automate workflows using
Shell scripting & Ansible
Collaborate with
DevOps and development teams
Ensure
high availability, security, and compliance
Required Skills
10+ years of
Oracle Database Administration
Strong experience with
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)
Oracle Database
19c / 26ai
RMAN, Data Guard, Backup & Recovery
Oracle WebLogic Server 14
(Admin & Patching)
Oracle APEX (18+) & ORDS (22+)
Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM 24ai)
Hands‑on with
Linux/Unix & Shell scripting
Experience with
DBaaS in OCI
Knowledge of
GitLab & Ansible automation
Strong understanding of
cloud architecture & HA/DR design
Experience with
Docker, Kubernetes
Expertise in
performance tuning & database security
Familiarity with
CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD)
Strong analytical, communication, and troubleshooting skills
Nice to Have
Oracle certifications ( OCIP / OCP / OCE )
Experience with
microservices & API integrations
Exposure to
AWS/Azure environments
Oracle Database 11g – 10 years
Oracle Database 12c – 6 years
Oracle Grid Control (13c) – 7 years
Oracle WebLogic / Fusion Middleware – 7 years
Oracle APEX Administration – 5 years
