Join our Connected Aviation - Air Traffic Solutions – Whole Life Engineering Department (ATS-WLE) for an exciting career development opportunity as a Technical Product Training Specialist. You will collaborate with a dedicated team of 50+ engineers representing several whole life engineering disciplines who support globally deployed Air Traffic Control (ATC) and related systems, including STARS and WAAS, which provide vital safety-of-life air traffic management support for the FAA, for the DoD, and for international counterparts. Our systems enable seamless control and navigation for civil and military aviation. What You Will Do
You will work onsite at our Marlborough, MA site location.
You will design, develop, verify, review, and deliver e-Learning and Instructor-Led training materials.
You will develop training content using technical documentation (manuals, engineering specifications and engineering drawings) and by working with subject matter experts.
You will create training plans, slide packages, student guides, instructor guides, lab guides, written exams, performance exams, and more.
You will work with hardware and software in a laboratory environment (independently or with assistance) to gather data, verify procedures and training materials.
You will maintain training materials and oversee configuration management of source materials.
You will perform regular training development updates and ensure continued, effective communication with team and program leads.
You will travel to RTX and customer sites as needed.

You will learn proven technical training materials development and instruction processes.
You will learn effective communication and reporting practices in support of vital air traffic management sustainment.
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience
Minimum of 3 years of Technical Training Development experience

Qualifications We Prefer
Experience performing work related to Operations and Maintenance of Air Traffic Control systems
Experience creating training materials using e-learning products such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or Adobe Authorware.
Experience conducting technical training sessions
Experience performing work on systems involving networking hardware, radar/signal inputs, or general information technology infrastructure racks and consoles
Experience using Solaris or Linux-based software tools and command terminals
Experience utilizing engineering documentation and customer requirements to create training objectives and content
Experience performing peer reviews of training materials
Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Experience collaborating in a team environment
Experience providing primary communication of technical information to management, customers, and other engineering team members

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays.
