About the job
Cenith Innovations is building the next generation of autonomous drone systems. As our IT Administrator, you will own the day‑to‑day IT operations that keep our distributed team productive and our sensitive workloads secure. You will support a remote‑first workforce running macOS, Windows, and Linux, while also maintaining the physical IT footprint of our Bend, Oregon office — including the network, server rack, and hardware that powers our drone development work.

Your first major initiative will be leading the IT side of our CMMC Level 2 implementation. You will work closely with leadership, engineering, and our compliance partners to bring our systems, policies, and controls in line with NIST 800‑171 requirements.

This is a high‑ownership role at a small, fast‑moving company. You will make decisions that shape how our team works today and how we scale tomorrow.

Responsibilities

Manage and support a hybrid fleet of macOS, Windows, and Linux laptops for a distributed workforce — including provisioning, imaging, patching, and lifecycle management.

Administer and improve company‑wide services including Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, PreVeil, VPN, and SSO.

Drive the IT workstream for our CMMC Level 2 implementation — configuring endpoints, access controls, logging, and policies to meet NIST 800‑171 requirements.

Support the in‑office IT footprint in Bend, Oregon — including Wi‑Fi, networking gear, the server rack, and physical hardware that supports our autonomous drone engineering workflows.

Own user onboarding and offboarding, identity lifecycle, and periodic access reviews.

Build and maintain IT documentation, runbooks, and training resources for the broader team.

Act as the first point of contact for employee IT issues and triage escalations to vendors as needed.

Partner with engineering to support the hardware, test benches, and networks that our drone programs depend on.

Location:
