Job Description
Licensed Architect position in New York focusing on K‑12 and higher education projects. Competitive salary range of $90,000 – $145,000 with a hybrid schedule.
Responsibilities
Lead and contribute to all phases of design and construction for K-12 and higher education projects.
Interpret and implement New York State Education Department (SED) requirements for public school facilities.
Stay up-to-date with SED procedures and ensure compliance throughout project delivery.
Build strong client relationships, understanding their vision and ensuring project goals are met.
Participate in business development efforts, identify new opportunities, and support strategic growth initiatives.
Qualifications
Licensed Architect in the State of New York.
5–10 years of architectural experience, with a strong background in K-12 and higher education design.
Thorough understanding of SED procedures for public school projects.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and client expectations effectively.
