Position Description
Ryder is hiring a NON CDL Truck Driver in Louisville, KY, offering weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a driving career you can feel good about.
Pay and Schedule
$967 or more per week
Hours per week: 42 + hours per week
Solo Miles Pay: $0.39 per mile with 1189 miles per week
Solo Stops Pay: $12.00 per stop with 42 stops per week
Paid training
Schedule: Monday – Friday, no weekends
Start time: 7:00 AM
Route and Equipment
Deliver SOLOTo: 120 mile radius of Louisville, KY
Route: Local Home Daily
Truck type: Box Truck – 16’, 22’ & 26’
Equipment: Pallet jack, lift gate & hand truck
Truck maintenance: 36 months or newer, 24/7 roadside maintenance, company drivers fuel trucks at 800+ facilities nationwide
Freight: Touch – Auto Parts

Responsibilities
Safely drive a vehicle within and outside the assigned area, complying with all safety regulations, continuous training and customer service standards.
Ensure compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and agency rules, standards, and guidelines.
Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards.
Maintain accurate records and loading/unloading freight or assisting in loading/unloading as required by the customer.
Other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum 21 years of age.
Minimum of 6 months of verifiable driving experience.
Pass a Ryder drug test.
Verified driving experience in similar equipment (e.g., straight truck or box truck).
6 months of experience in the past 3 years, OR 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years.
Pass a Ryder background and motor vehicle check, including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years.
Pass a DOT physical.
Pass a Ryder road test.
Must have a valid driver’s license.
Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions.
Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
