Teller I
to join our team at our Bird-in-Hand Branch. The
Teller I
receives and pays out money, as well as accurately keeps records of money involved in various transactions.
Responsibilities
Receive checking and savings deposits: verify cash and endorsements, receive proper identification for cash back and issue receipts of deposit.
Answer basic customer inquiries regarding interest rates, service charges and account histories while complying with disclosure requirements, regulations and consumer privacy policies.
Balance drawer daily, including periodic batching of cashed checks.
Examine checks deposited and determine proper funds availability based on regulation requirements and complete hold notices.
Preferred Skills
Experience using computer programs such as Microsoft Office and Microsoft Teams
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Previous banking experience
Qualifications
2+ years of customer service experience
Cash handling experience
High school diploma or equivalent required
