Audit and Assurance – Winter Internship (January–March)
Are you looking for a meaningful internship? As an intern in Crowe's Audit and Assurance practice, you will gain in‑depth exposure to the auditing profession and learn about the day‑to‑day responsibilities of an auditor.

During your internship, you will sharpen your analytical skills by auditing client financials, transactions, and internal control processes. You will work independently and collaborate with a diverse group of audit professionals to deliver exceptional client service. You will use our audit tools and technologies—including advanced analytics, data visualizations, and process‑flow automation—to analyze client data and provide an exceptional client experience.

Interns will serve on diverse client engagements across manufacturing, distribution, not‑for‑profit, government, healthcare, education, construction, dealerships, food and agriculture, insurance, and financial institution clients. Opportunities also exist to work on benefit‑plan audits of 401(k), pension, or employee‑stock‑ownership plans.

Audit winter internships require a full‑time workload of 40 hours per week during business hours. Please consider your course load and school schedule when applying.

Skills and Requirements

Pursuing a Bachelor's and/or Master's in Accounting or a similar degree.

CPA eligibility—scheduled to meet the educational requirements to obtain a CPA license. Prior to starting full time, new hires must fulfill the education‑related eligibility criteria for the assigned Crowe work location.

Proficient with Excel.

Strong academic credentials.

Experience with data analytics is strongly desired.

Relevant work experience (e.g., internships, summer positions, school jobs).

Demonstrated leadership, problem solving, and strong verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to prioritize tasks and work on multiple assignments.

Ability to work both independently and in a team environment with professionals of all levels.

Desire to travel.

Available to work or travel evenings or weekends if needed (Saturday and/or Sunday).

The wage range for this role is $27.00–$42.00 per hour.
