One (1) Network Technician (Level I - Entry Level)

Responsibilities
Provide front line entry level technology support to staff at schools and administrative offices in the Rockaway Township School District.
Maintain strong organizational and communication skills to offer a high level of customer service to all staff at all school locations.
Use concise writing skills to log, update, and close issues via support systems, and create knowledge base documentation.
Demonstrate proficient technical knowledge of workstations, printers, scanners, network concepts, and all supported services, including OS support, Google Apps, classroom technologies, mobile devices, user accounts, hardware diagnosis/installation, data management, and new supported technologies.
Provide technical assessment and recommend process improvements and new initiatives.
Salary
$45,000.00 - $55,000.00

Residency Requirement
Effective September 1, 2011, all employees of school districts must reside in the State of New Jersey unless exempted under law. If you already work for the school district as of September 1, 2011, and you do not live in New Jersey, you are not required to move. However, if you begin your position or employment on that date or later, you must reside in New Jersey. If you do not reside in New Jersey, you have one year from the date you take your position to relocate. Failing to do so may result in removal from your position.
