Job Duties
Provides customer service to internal and external customers, answering phones, greeting walk‑in visitors, and responding to information requests.
Performs clerical tasks such as collecting fees, processing, sorting, filing and distributing correspondence, billings, payments, and other documents.
Enters information into court databases and other computerized systems to maintain court records and process motions.
Prepares, records, and maintains information, verifying files and ensuring accuracy.
Performs other duties of a similar nature or level.
Requirements / Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential duties.
Knowledge Requirements
Customer service principles
Computers and related software applications
Criminal coding concepts
Federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations
Office procedures, methods, and equipment
Data entry techniques
Criminal history information
Skill Requirements
Providing customer service
Maintaining records
Performing data entry
Operating standard office equipment
Using computers and related software applications
Reviewing reports for accuracy
Communication and interpersonal skills as applied to interaction with coworkers, supervisors, and the general public.
Physical Requirements
Primarily sedentary; may require slight physical effort not to exceed 20 lbs.
