Project Coordinator / Project Manager – Low Voltage Construction

6–12 Month Contract

Position Overview
Brooksource is seeking an experienced Project Coordinator / Project Manager with a strong background in low voltage construction. This individual will act as the operational liaison between the client and subcontracted low voltage contractors, ensuring that all project scopes are delivered on time, within specification, and aligned with client quality standards.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of hands-on construction experience (superintendent level or above), strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple contractors and active job sites simultaneously with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the primary liaison between the client and low voltage subcontractors supporting active construction builds

Prepare, schedule, coordinate, and track weekly project updates across multiple job sites

Monitor installation practices and ensure alignment with approved project scopes and client expectations

Track job progress and proactively communicate status updates, risks, and delays to the client

Conduct daily job walks to verify contractor-reported progress and identify potential issues early

Oversee schedule adherence, contractor productivity, and scope compliance on behalf of the client

Perform quality assurance checks to ensure installations meet client standards and specifications

Ensure all installation deadlines are met and communicate scope-specific requirements clearly to contractors

Collaborate effectively with client stakeholders and contractor project managers to resolve issues and drive execution

Complete all required project documentation accurately and in a timely manner

Maintain confidentiality of project and client information at all times

Manage multiple concurrent projects and contractors in a fast-paced construction environment

Required Qualifications

Minimum 5+ years of experience in low voltage construction

Experience at superintendent level or higher strongly preferred

Strong understanding of construction project coordination, scheduling, and field execution

Proven ability to manage subcontractors and enforce scope compliance

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong organizational and time management skills

High proficiency with computers and project tracking tools (Excel, scheduling software, reporting tools, etc.)

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
