Supervisor Maintenance

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and supervise maintenance staff. This includes setting daily priorities and providing technical guidance on complex repairs.

Preventative Maintenance: Develop and implement routine maintenance schedules for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other critical building systems to minimize downtime.

Work Order Management: Prioritize and assign work orders using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on time.

Safety & Compliance: Enforce OSHA regulations and local safety codes. Conduct regular inspections to identify hazards and ensure a safe working environment for all staff.

Vendor & Budget Management: Coordinate with external contractors for major repairs. Monitor the maintenance budget and manage the inventory of tools and supplies.

Emergency Response: Maintain facility SOPs and remain on call to respond quickly to emergencies and adverse weather conditions.

Candidate Profile

Experience: Minimum of 3+ years in general maintenance, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.

Technical Background: Proven experience with electrical, plumbing, carpentry, pneumatics, hydraulics, welding, and machine repairs.

Education: High School Diploma required; trade school degree or vocational training is highly preferred.

Soft Skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with both upper management and technical staff.

Physical Ability: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and remain on your feet for extended periods.

Other Requirements: Must be a US Citizen.

Ability to work a non-traditional schedule, including overtime and on-call availability.

Ability to resolve complex projects with minimal direction.
