Work Setting:
Part‑time, ~20 hours per week, in‑person.
Salary Range:
$20–$23 per hour.
Experience:
Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
Role Overview:
Highly motivated, team‑oriented Systems Engineer Intern will work across model‑based systems engineering, systems integration, technical analysis, and engineering support for DoD mission systems.
Responsibilities:
Support requirements gathering, architecture development, and system design using an MBSE approach.
Develop and analyze systems using UML, SysML, or UPDM.
Create plugins and reports to support digital engineering workflows and customer deliverables.
Apply enterprise architecture and modeling tools for component interface modeling, system integration, and technical analysis.
Qualifications:
Academic or hands‑on familiarity with systems engineering practices.
Exposure to UML, SysML, and/or UPDM for model development and analysis.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, learn quickly, take initiative, and adapt to shifting priorities in a dynamic environment.
