Your Role at Baxter
The Field Service Technician I will perform functions related to product readiness for patient utilization on a wide range of rental and customer‑owned medical products, including cleaning, disinfecting, operational function checks, and minor repairs of Baxter and non‑Baxter products.

What You'll Do

Perform electronic, hydraulic and pneumatic systems troubleshooting and repair of assigned products.

Diagnose and repair malfunctioning components on medical devices.

Use appropriate tools to make required adjustments and repairs.

Provide on‑call coverage up to 24/7, including weekends and holidays, which may require customer account visits.

Load, unload, and remove medical products weighing up to 1,680 pounds.

Generate service revenue and complete required activities under service contract.

Safely operate a box truck vehicle or company car ranging in size from a cargo van up to a 26,000‑pound truck.

What You'll Bring

At least 21 years of age.

High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.

Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

Basic mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).

Preferred Qualifications

Technical or Trade School training.

DOT physical card (assistance provided).

Experience with FDA‑regulated products.

Experience in customer service.

Safety Requirements

Adhere to Hill‑Rom Safety Procedures.

Wear personal protective equipment, including safety shoes, eye protection, gloves, and protective clothing.

Work in environments where biohazards may be present (e.g., hospitals, service centers, depots).

Compensation
Salary range: $43,200 – $59,400 per year.
