Design Engineer

Responsibilities
Design and build UI components, pages, and interactions end-to-end
Own the design system implementation and ensure consistency across the product
Collaborate with the designer on UX decisions and visual direction
Prototype new features and interactions rapidly in code
Push the bar on craft, animation, and micro-interactions across the platform
Minimum Qualifications
Strong frontend skills with TypeScript, React, and modern CSS
Eye for design with the ability to make independent visual decisions
Experience building and maintaining component libraries or design systems
Willingness to work in person in Bay Area, CA
Preferred Qualifications
Portfolio showing both design and engineering work
Experience with animation libraries such as Framer Motion or CSS animations
Proficiency in Figma or similar design tools
Background in developer tools or B2B SaaS products
