Overview
The Tactical SIGINT Systems Engineer Level 2 supports the triage and analysis of end‑user COMINT, ELINT, and FISINT collection, identification, and geolocation requirements across military mobile platforms (air, land, and sea). This role assists stakeholders in refining technical requirements for tactical SIGINT collection systems, evaluates U.S. commercial solution alternatives, conducts feasibility and risk analyses, and develops recommended acquisition and execution courses of action. The Engineer contributes to tactical sensor system architectures, reviews key systems engineering artifacts, and supports U.S. Government efforts to lead foreign partner tactical SIGINT sensor programs from initial requirements development through project delivery and installation.

Key Responsibilities

Triage and analyze military user tactical SIGINT requirements, CONOPS, and data flow architectures to define and manage tactical collection system requirements

Lead industry system design, architecture development, and system integration activities while ensuring technical integrity across the system lifecycle

Guide requirements engineering and support development of systems engineering documentation, including FRDs, ICDs, specifications, and JCIDS artifacts

Review and evaluate tactical sensor technical documentation, KPPs, white papers, test plans, Factory Acceptance Tests, and Capstone Event criteria

Coordinate multinational, multi‑organizational, and multi‑office technical efforts (e.g., VTCs, PMRs, CCBs, technical reviews) to resolve capability and system issues

Develop and evaluate system concepts, architectures, and design solutions, including performance, risk, and feasibility assessments

Provide technical leadership and stakeholder communication across system testing, implementation, operational integration, installation, and sustainment

Assist the U.S. Government in leading foreign partner tactical SIGINT sensor projects across the full lifecycle, including SOW/RFP development, proposal review, BOE/ROM analysis, LOA support, and execution from kickoff through delivery

Qualifications

Fourteen (14) years of experience as a Tactical SIGINT Systems Engineer, including operator and test engineering experience, supporting military tactical mobile platforms (air, land, sea) on programs of similar scope, type, and complexity

Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, SIGINT, RF Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university

Five (5) additional years of relevant systems engineering experience may be substituted for a bachelor\'s degree

Requirements
