Traveling Construction Laborer

Construction Laborer (50% Travel)

Join a dynamic full-service concrete company specializing in foundation, flatwork, and decorative work. As a Construction Laborer, you will be part of a team that takes pride in delivering high-quality work and innovative solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Start work around 6am and continue until finish, typically between 4pm and 6pm.
• Meet at the shop in Olathe at the start of the day and carpool to various job sites.
• Participate in orientation on your first day, with a likelihood of not working the full shift.
• Engage in heavy lifting and perform various physical labor tasks.
• Operate hand tools and power tools efficiently.

Essential Skills:

• 1-2 years of previous experience in a construction general laborer role.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical labor tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience in operating forklifts, gradalls, or other lifts is a plus.
• Blueprint reading skills.
• OSHA 10 certification.
• Experience with Gyp-crete.
• Equipment operating skills.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Olathe, KS.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
