HVAC Copper Pipefitter
KAR & Larrabee, a well-established mechanical contractor with over 50 years in the industry, is hiring experienced Copper Pipefitters for a high-end senior living facility project in Tampa, FL.
Full-time position. This opportunity involves working on a large-scale commercial project with a stable company offering consistent work and professional job sites.
Responsibilities
Install HVAC piping systems including chilled water, hot water, refrigerant, and steam
Measure, cut, bend, and assemble copper piping
Perform brazing and soldering to join pipes
Read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings
Pressure test systems to ensure proper installation
Troubleshoot and repair piping systems as needed
Coordinate with HVAC technicians and other trades on-site
Work Environment
Commercial construction site
Indoor and outdoor work
Physically demanding role including lifting, climbing, and working at heights

Requirements
Minimum 3 years of HVAC pipefitting experience

Preferred Qualifications
OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
EPA Certification
Journeyman Pipefitter license
