Pay Range:
$20.00 - $22.00 per hour
Working hours:
6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Job Summary
As a Material Handler, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of materials throughout our manufacturing facility while adhering to our high-quality standards and following all safety and company guidelines.
Specific Duties/Essential Functions
Follow 5S methodology (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) to maintain an organized, efficient, and safe work environment
Load, unload, and move materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment
Accurately track and manage inventory, ensuring materials are stored properly and easily accessible
Deliver and stage the components to the production line
Operate radio frequency equipment for inventory transactions
Inspect materials for defects or damage and report any issues to supervisors
Perform routine maintenance and housekeeping to ensure a clean and organized work area.
Assist with quarterly inventory
Performs additional tasks and responsibilities, as needed, to support team and business objectives.
Role Requirements
Must be eligible to work in the United States.
Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 1 year of previous material handling experience
Ability to operate a forklift
Ability to operate material handling equipment (forklift certification a plus).
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Must be able to regularly lift and move up to 50 lbs. May occasionally lift over 50 lbs., where employee assistance is required.
Able to do basic computer tasks.
Knowledge of operating other warehouse machinery
Experience with RF Scanning is required.
This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
