OR Support Tech I
to join our dynamic perioperative team. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, dependable, and always willing to lend a helping hand. This role is essential to supporting safe, efficient operating room operations while working closely with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
Role Purpose
Function as a team member in the operating room to support medical and nursing staff during the pre, intra, and post-operative phase, including room turnover, cleaning and stocking supplies and equipment, and patient transport.
Responsibilities
Transports patients in a timely, safe manner with proper documentation.
Assists with room turnover, gathering necessary equipment, removing soiled trash, linen, and biohazardous waste.
Assists with positioning and prepping patients, obtaining blood products and additional supplies during procedures.
Performs housekeeping duties in assigned areas.
Hours & Shift
Hours: 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM
Shift: Four 10‑hour shifts (4×10s)
Weekday and weekend call rotation
Holiday rotation
Education
High School Diploma or GED
