Permanent Full‑time Warehouse Material Handler in Dekalb, Illinois
Job Details
Hourly Pay: $20.30 per hour
Products Being Handled: Candy
Equipment Used: Stand‑up High Reach and Dock Lift
Environment: Temperature‑controlled facility at 60°F

Responsibilities
Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting
Work within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
Accurately pick and pack, audit, tote induction, stage products, and load/unload trucks
Handle day‑to‑day paperwork in a warehouse environment (e.g., picking sheets, returns, bills of lading)
Provide technical and maintenance support for automation packing systems during core shift hours of production
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
One year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
Valid Forklift Operator’s license certified
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to be a team player in a diverse work environment
Ability to create and maintain professional relationships at all levels of the organization
Highly thorough and dependable
Must be punctual with a good attendance record
Performs work independently with minimal supervision
Possesses a high degree of initiative
Demonstrates a high level of accuracy under pressure
Ability to lift/push/pull up to 35 lbs
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Ability to work using health and safety methods
Must be available for a flexible schedule and various shifts
Detail oriented with excellent follow‑up practices
