About the Role
We’re seeking a hands‑on
Maintenance Supervisor
to lead a team of Maintenance Mechanics and Electricians within a fast‑paced food manufacturing environment. This role blends technical expertise with leadership, focusing on maximizing equipment reliability, driving preventative maintenance strategies, and supporting overall plant performance.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Development
Lead, coach, and develop maintenance team members to drive performance and engagement
Promote a strong safety culture and ensure adherence to SOPs and best practices
Maintenance Strategy & Execution
Oversee daily maintenance operations and coordinate closely with Production
Implement and optimize preventive, predictive, and TPM programs
Prioritize work to minimize downtime and maximize equipment reliability
Performance & Continuous Improvement
Monitor KPIs such as uptime, OEE, and maintenance efficiency
Analyze trends, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions
Compliance & Documentation
Ensure compliance with USDA and regulatory standards
Maintain accurate maintenance records, inventory, and CMMS data
Operational Support
Step in as needed to support operations, troubleshoot issues, and ensure continuity
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
or
equivalent hands‑on experience
2+ years of leadership experience in maintenance or manufacturing environments
Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills with industrial equipment
Experience with ammonia refrigeration systems required
Effective communication and team leadership abilities
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and maintenance systems (CMMS preferred)
Willingness to work extended hours or weekends as needed
