Key Responsibilities and Daily Operations
Duties
Preventative Maintenance:
Performing routine oil changes, tire rotations, and comprehensive safety inspections to prevent downtime.
Advanced Diagnostics:
Troubleshooting and executing both minor and major repairs on a diverse fleet, including trucks, trailers, forklifts, and heavy machinery.
Technical Collaboration:
Communicating effectively with the repair team to diagnose complex mechanical issues and plan efficient repair paths.
Shop Stewardship:
Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe shop environment while adhering to strict safety-sensitive protocols and movement procedures.
Requirements and Physical Demands
Education and Compliance:
High School Diploma or GED and a valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
Experience and Tools:
A personal professional toolset is required for this trade. ASE Certifications are highly preferred and rewarded.
Physical Agility:
Must be able to lift 50-75+ lbs regularly. This role requires frequent standing, walking, bending, climbing, and crawling in various (and sometimes cramped) positions.
Environmental Resilience:
Comfort working in a repair shop environment with exposure to grease, loud noise, and varying temperature extremes.
