
Maintenance Mechanic needed for Commercial Laundry!

Position Summary
Responsible for completing processing of linen to meet quality and efficiency standards.
Major Responsibilities
Repair and maintenance of industrial washers, dryers, boilers, compressors, conveyors, and other equipment.
Diagnose, rebuild and repair equipment; perform inspections and preventive maintenance.
Prepare and maintain records and reports.
Possess experience and in-depth knowledge in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, Industrial Controls, PLC ladder logic, plumbing, HVAC, welding, strong mechanical knowledge of pumps, valves, gears, bearings, lubricants, etc. & ability to read blueprints.
Excellent problem‑solving skills; able to work any shift; excellent attendance; physically capable of walking, crawling, climbing ladders, lifting up to 50 lbs, bending and squatting for normal maintenance work.
Qualifications and Minimum Requirements
Able to respond to basic verbal commands.
Effectively follow directions.
Organized.
Multi‑lingual a plus.
Computer / Technical Skills / Job Specific Skills
High school diploma; skilled trade school or maintenance vocational schooling.
3 years’ experience as a Maintenance Technician in a large sized facility in a maintenance capacity.
Work Hours
Must be available to work morning and/or overnight shift.
May include working on weekends or during holidays.
Physical / Mental Requirements
May be at an industrial setting with heat/cold and distracting noise levels.
Good hand‑eye coordination.
Must be able to stand for 8‑hour shifts.
Able to push or pull carts weighing several hundred pounds.
Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Able to stand on feet and work in hot temperatures for several hours.
Safety

Follow all lawful employer safety and health rules.
Wear and/or use Personal Protective Equipment as instructed.
